RNC investigating motorcycle-vehicle collision

The RNC is investigating an accident that occurred on Prince Philip Drive in St. John's this afternoon involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to hospital and the extent of their injuries is still unknown at this time.
Police say the motorcycle was travelling west on Prince Philip Drive and collided with a vehicle that was attempting to exit a parking lot near Queen's College.
The RNC forensic identification and accident investigation units are conducting an examination of the scene.
Prince Philip Drive, west of Allandale Road, has been reduced to one lane and is expected to re-open within the next two hours.
The RNC is advising motorist to avoid using the Allandale Road and Prince Philip Drive intersection to avoid traffic congestion.
