RNC warning of fraudulent cheques

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is advising the general public of fraudulent cheques, currently circulating in the area of the Northeast Avalon.
The RNC Economic Crime Unit is advising the general public and local businesses to be on the look out for cheques from a business called "R & D Cleaners."
The cheques are fraudulent in nature and the RNC is asking anyone who may have a cheque from R & D Cleaners in their possession, to contact the RNC Economic Crime Unit by calling 729-8000.
