A man and his two daughters have been forced, at least temporarily, from a rented home after a fire Wednesday in Glovertown.
The eight-year-old girls were not staying at the home when the fire was reported around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
All three are staying with other relatives for now.
Canadian Red Cross volunteers contacted today have assisted the father with emergency replacement of clothing, food and some personal-care items.
The blaze was quickly contained, but the house sustained smoke and water damage.
The cause is under investigation.
