Pop princess Shiloh and country singer Johnny Reid are among the performers who are having trouble getting to this weekend's Juno Awards in St. John's due to bad weather.
A Friday morning flight from Toronto to St. John's was cancelled, stranding artists, publicists and music execs at Pearson International Airport.
And a record label spokesman said punk band Billy Talent was held up in Halifax, while songstress Nikki Yanofsky was having trouble getting out of Montreal.
St. John's was engulfed in fog Friday, with showers forecast throughout the weekend.
The bulk of the Juno Awards will be handed out at a ceremony on Saturday night with the main televised gala to be broadcast Sunday night on CTV. Michael Buble goes into the show with a leading six nominations.
