Update: Body found in St. Johns that of 47-year-old woman

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is continuing to investigate the discovery of a body in St. John's.
The body of a 47-year-old female has been found in a vehicle that was located on a parking lot off Kelsey Drive. The vehicle has been removed and is currently being examined by members of the RNC's Forensic Identification Unit.
As mentioned earlier, members of the Major Crime Unit are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
The RNC issued a missing person notice Wednesday regarding a 47-year-old woman missing from her Conception Bay South residence since April 1. Police, however, have not yet confirmed whether the two cases are related.
