Driver taken to hospital after tractor trailer leaves Pitts Memorial

Workers prepare to move a tractor trailer back onto the road Friday afternoon after the rig left Pitts Memorial Drive just before the lunch hour and drove into a ditch and up onto an embankment. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. Two cranes were called to the scene to lift the truck onto the road. Photo by Keith Gosse/The Telegram
