Richmond guard Kevin Anderson has withdrawn his name from next month's NBA draft.

The university announced Friday that the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year will return for his senior season.

Anderson declared for the draft last month but did not sign an agent, allowing him to withdraw and maintain his college eligibility.

Anderson said in a news release that the information he gleaned while exploring his options will be helpful in the future.

The Atlanta native averaged a team-high 17.8 points per game last season as the Spiders went 26-9, tying the school record for most wins in a season.
