Cattle, moose sightings near TCH

Holyrood RCMP are warning motorists tonight of both moose and cattle sightings.
According to the police, cattle have been seen along the pole line, near the west bound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway, just before the Avondale Exit.
A moose was reported about two kilometres east of the Salmonier Line in the west bound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway.
The RCMP warn that motorists should be extremely cautious driving in these areas and reduce their speed.

Those cattle must be the lost CBS cattle. Round 'em up, cowboy!! No further warnings are necessary from the RCMP regarding moose sightings. All they can do is warn motorists to be cautious and reduce speed. Those are the two biggest factors in moose accidents. No good to warn the moose; they cannot make an intelligent response. We know the moose are on the road; moose don't know that there is a road there..... its just their natural habitat and we happened to put a road through it. The signs are for us, and not the moose; they can't read and we don't always heed.
