The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male suspect using cloned credit cards to make purchases at businesses in the St. John's and Mount Pearl area.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary would like to remind businesses that they are permitted to request an additional piece of identification from consumers, especially for significant transactions.
The RNC Economic Crime Unit is advising the general public and local businesses, to be on the look out for this individual and requesting that anyone who may have information regarding the identity of the suspect to contact the RNC Economic Crime Unit by calling 729-8000.
