Trenton, Ont. -

The body of Trooper Larry Rudd, the latest Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan, will arrive home Thursday afternoon.
A military plane carrying Rudd's casket is scheduled to land at CFB Trenton, in eastern Ontario, at 2 p.m. ET.
Dignitaries expected to be present for the repatriation ceremony include Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Gen. Walt Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff.
Rudd was killed Monday after a roadside bomb exploded about 20 kilometres southwest of Kandahar City.
Several hundred soldiers were on hand for a ramp ceremony today in Afghanistan, as his body started the journey home.
