While I do not support this type of fund raising, i think its important to have shelters etc. HOWEVER I thinks its far more important for the government (Justice Dept) and the courts to hand our stricter and harsher penalities to men who abuse females. If that were the case there would be no need for shelters. Get rid of the stupid things like house arrest, probation, parole etc. You do the crime you do the time (and more of it).
