RNC investigating daytime armed robbery at city hair salon

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an armed robbery this afternoon at First Choice Hair Salon on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John's.
About 2:05 p.m., the RNC responded to a report of an armed robbery at First Choice Hair Salon at 82 Elizabeth Ave. Two male suspects entered the store armed with a knife.
Before fleeing from the store on foot, the suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both suspects are described as being approximately 5'11" tall with a slim build and approximately 20-25 years of age.
One of the suspects had a goatee and was wearing blue jeans and a navy zip-up hoodie with blue and white stripes. The second suspect was wearing blue jeans and a grey hoodie.
No injuries were sustained during the incident and no video is available at this time.
