Human remains found

Placentia Whitbourne RCMP, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, are investigating the discovery of human remains off the main highway between North Harbour and Branch.
The RCMP said the remains were located around 8 a.m. Sunday and will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
