Update: Chopper recovering bodies of two killed in small plane crash in Labrador

A helicopter is recovering the bodies of two people killed when their small plane went down in eastern Labrador.
Jeri Grychowski of the rescue co-ordination centre in Halifax says the first body was removed late Friday night from the area 90 kilometres west of Cartwright.
She says a Cormorant helicopter would recover the second body today.
Grychowski says the aircraft was located at about 10 p.m. Friday, but the pilot and passenger on the twin-engine Piper were both dead.
The plane is owned by North Wind Aviation of Happy-Valley Goose Bay.
The charter flight originally left Happy Valley-Goose Bay en route to Cartwright on Wednesday.
The search effort on Thursday had been hampered by fog, high winds, freezing rain and snow.
The victims' names have not been released.
