Transportation Safety Board investigating cause of fatal Labrador plane crash

The investigation into the fatal plane crash that occurred on Wednesday, May 26, that claimed the lives of the pilot and the lone passenger, is ongoing by the Transport Safety Board.
The two bodies were recovered from the crash scene with the assistance of the RCMP, the local Ground Search and Rescue Team, and along with the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The victims in the plane crash have been identified as Frank Bishop Jr., 45, of Cupids, who was a passenger, and pilot Paul Deering, 38, of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Both bodies have been flown to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in St. John's for post mortems.
