RNC release property damage video in hopes public may help identify suspect

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has released surveillance video captured during an attempted break into an ATM at the Bank of Montreal in St. John's.
About midnight on April 20, an unknown male suspect attempted to force entry into an ATM at the Bank of Montreal, located at 235 Water St. The suspect was not successful in obtaining any cash from the ATM, however, caused extensive damage to the banking machine prior to fleeing the area.
The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this crime and seeking the assistance of the general public.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or anyone who may have any information in relation to this break, enter and theft case is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
