Body of Canadian soldier who died in Afghanistan due today at CFB Trenton

A repatriation ceremony for the latest Canadian soldier to be killed in Afghanistan is set for this afternoon.
The body of Sgt. Martin Goudreault is due at CFB Trenton, in eastern Ontario, at 2 p.m. ET.
Among those expected to be on hand are Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean, Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Gen. Walt Natynczyk, chief of the defence staff.
Goudreault, 35, was killed on Sunday by a roadside bomb southwest of Kandahar city.
The native of Sudbury, Ont., spent 15 years in the military and was on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan.
He's the 147th member of the Canadian military to die in the Afghan mission.
As is customary, the body will be driven along the "Highway of Heroes," the stretch of Highway 401 from Trenton to Toronto.
Once in the city, the convoy to the coroner's office will follow a path named this week the "Route of Heroes."
