It's great to read of the new bus for St. Luke's residents. Now if we can only get the other Homes to put their buses on the road again, we may be able to free up the Wheelway buses for Disabled people, for whom the buses were supposed to serve in the first place. We can hardly get a ride because the Vans are taken up with the Hospital runs and Senior Citizens Homes transportation needs. The Government has taken, all Vans off the roads (Children's Rehabilitation Vans, Hospital Vans) and Disabled People have to book a ride a week to ten days before we can get a Wheelway bus. Not good enough.
