Her Majesty's Penitentiary was to end most of its partial lockdown today at 4 p.m, according to a Justice Department spokesman.
One area will remain under lockdown.
The Pen had been under partial lockdown since 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the spokesman, the minimizing of prisoner movements is part of an ongoing internal security investigation.
No further details were available.
