RCMP seize alcohol in Natuashish

The RCMP seized an alcohol shipment in Natuashish about 10 a.m. Wednesday after the force received information that a supply of liquor may be arriving in Natuashish on a flight from Goose Bay.
RCMP members attended the local airstrip and conducted a search of the flight and located 12 60-ounce bottles of Big Land Whisky that has a street value of approximately $4,000.
There is a ban on alcohol in the community.
The RCMP in Natuashish will continue daily enforcement pertaining to the illegal transportation of liquor into the community.
