Update: Agencies headed to accident scene, driver taken to hospital

Police officials say that a dumptruck was carrying the flatbed and backhoe when it went into Bay Bulls Big Pond.
Constabulary, fire emergency workers are on the scene and have managed to pull the driver from the truck. They have him in the back of an ambulance on a backboard.
The driver was conscious but injured when he was taken to hospital moments ago.
Sources say a witness to the accident jumped into the water and swam out to the truck to help the driver.
Those on the scene say oil containment has been deployed in the area around the heavy equipment.
Officials from the Environment and Transportation departments, light & power officials and the water supply management team have all been contacted about the accident.
Accident investigation are also en-route to the collision.
