RCMP release photos of ATVs involved in fatal weekend collision

A 31-year-old male passenger of an ATV was declared dead at the scene of an accident Saturday after being thrown from the ATV he was on.
The collision involved two ATVs on a dirt road in the town of Lethbridge on the Bonavista Peninsula.
The deceased was from the nearby town of Brooklyn, but his name has not been released.
The driver of the ATV was taken to Clarenville hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither was wearing a helmet.
The driver and passenger of the second ATV were not injured.
RCMP say speed and alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
The Clarenville RCMP are continuing the investigation, along with RCMP traffic services.
