Congratulations to our NL artists who are bringing home the honours from this year's ECMA's in Charlottetown! The Once, Ennis, Duane Andrews, Idlers, Rik Barron, and Shelley Chase, you have done Newfoundland and Labrador and the music industry proud! Honorable mention to the West Coast's Sherman Downey and the Ambiguous Case; you are a phenomenal group of musicians. Best wishes to you all. Tina Dolter, Chair, ACI NL

"Unexpected. I’m speechless,” added Dale. “...when it’s the members voting, you don’t think you’re...good enough for them to vote for you" Ah, nice to see our culture of defeatism is alive and well. Listen, the only reason you would watch ECMA's on TV as a kid is because you didn't have cable! No offence!

Well there's my dose of ignorance for the day! But to be honest, I could have gone without it!
