Singer/songwriter/producer Jerry Stamp started performing in his home town of St. John’s, Newfoundland at the tender age of 13. Eventually he got a bachelor of classical music degree and subsequently ran off to tour Canada with his band, King Nancy.
He has shared the stage with artists like Broken Social Scene, Sam Roberts, Amelia Curran, Matthew Barber, Arkells, Hey Rosetta! and Pilot Speed (formerly known as Pilate) to name a few.
Still balancing King Nancy and his solo career, Jerry played almost 150 shows across the country in 2010, showcased at COCA, ECMA, CMW, NXNE, JUNOFest and any other acronyms that would let him.
In 2009 he recorded and released five records. Several of those records have earned him two 2011 ECMA nominations (for best Rock and Rising Star) and won him a MusicNL award.
