Brad Jefford Trio: Hailing from St. John’s, the Brad Jefford Trio+ (BJT+) has become a strong force on the city’s jazz and improvised music scene. Fusing tradition with their own contemporary sound the group uses elements from jazz, blues, funk, rock and many other musical genres to produce a wide range of grooves and textures. Led by guitarist/composer Brad Jefford, they keep the spirit of jazz and improvisation in the forefront whether they are playing one of the their funky originals or showing their softer side over a classic ballad.
