After studying at university in Nova Scotia, Joanna Barker has finally done what she’s wanted to do for too long — return home to Newfoundland and pay attention to the life — and love-inspired folk songs she has been writing for years. Since doing so in the spring of 2010, Joanna has already toured the island, shared the stage with incredible local musicians and recorded a demo at Henge Productions. Joanna is currently living in St. John’s and recently released her debut album, “February.” Click here to listen to “Once Was a Tree”.
