The members of St. John’s-based band Baytown released their first music video this week.

Directed by Matt Power and produced by Dodd Motors, the video is for “Death of Us,” and was filmed last December.

Baytown, featuring childhood friends Matt Cooke on vocals and guitar, James Lee Wright on bass and Mike Dinn on drums, are set to release their first full-length album this fall. The band has already produced two EPs for free distribution, and has developed a late-night fan base on George Street.

Nominees for the 2009 MusicNL award for Best Pop/Rock Artist, the members of Baytown will be touring eastern Canada starting next month.
