I understand the perceptions of danger associated with roasting down Signal Hill or any other but we have no "safe" places to ride with "absolutely no traffic or other things that will will cause accidents of any kind". I wish there was. I also wish there were no cars on the streets to get in my way. I don't drive and I think vehicles are dangerous and drivers should be excercising (PUN INTENDED) their time more productively. Don't hate on me John W., I'm just doing what the boys in the article are doing: something we love

do some actual research ...ballastic doesn't do anything with longboards .....they are a fashion store that associate themselves with skateboarding. when you can go shop for a dress and casual ware then your in the wrong place for buying boards.

Riding a board down Signal Hill Road. Really? My question is... since this is a public road, isn't that somewhat dangerous, or as usual are we going to wait until someone gets killed on this nothing but silly practice. Drivers of vehicles have enough trouble driving Signal Hill Road without have to share it with someone who should be, in my opinion, exercising their time more productively. Come to think of it, our insurance rates are high due to matters of this kind. This kind of sport (??) should be kept to areas where there is absolutely no traffic or other things that will cause accidents of any kind.

hey john....as usual.... an uneducated, mis informed, stupid comment from someone who complains about everything from the roads to insurance costs.... at least this guys isnt fat, or out tagging stuff with paint, or committing any other crimes.. but yet you condone this fella with out ever meeting him, tryin the sport he is doing, or gathering any other information with out puking that useless comment of yours out your fingers. now go hop in your car and drive two blocks to the store like you would normally do and get mad at traffic.
