Curran received her first Juno Award for Roots and Traditional Album of the Year in April 2010.

Newfoundland musician Alan Doyle’s name also appears on the nominees’ list this year.

His video “Testify,” directed by Margaret Malandruccolo and released by Skinner’s Hill and Universal, has been nominated for Video of the Year.

The awards will be held in Regina on April 21 and hosted by Michael Buble.

Triple Juno nominees include Hedley, Metric, Marianas Trench and Leonard Cohen.

In addition to Bieber, Jepsen’s competition for artist of the year will be Deadmau5, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Reid.
