The son of a preacher man, Blair Lane grew up in rural Newfoundland surrounded by music. His first public performance was at age 12.

After musical study in the U.S. and Manitoba and a stint as a gold miner, Lane and his wife Pam returned to Newfoundland to raise their family and work in the family business. In 2009 Lane returned to his love of music and released his first album “Only One,” recorded at Beech Creek Studios in Nashville, Tenn., and consisting of 11 original gospel songs. In 2010 he returned to Nashville to begin recording of his second album, “When Life Gets In The Way of Living” which was released three years later in November 2013.
