The concerts have become a holiday tradition for local fans of the celebrated folk trio, and this year’s shows will happen Dec. 4 at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre, as well as Dec. 21 and 22 at Gower Street United Church in St. John’s. After that, The Once will take the show on the road outside of the province, to Toronto, Ottawa and across the Maritimes.
The Once will perform music from their CD “This is a Christmas Album by The Once,” which recently earned the band a nomination for MusicNL’s The Telegram Folk/Roots Artist/Group of the Year, to be handed out this weekend in Gander.
Tickets for the Corner Brook show — at which The Once will be joined by special guests yet to be announced — are available at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre, while tickets for the shows in St. John’s are available at Fred’s Records and O’Brien’s Music.
