Daniel Lanois returns to St. John's in October

Multiple Grammy winner Daniel Lanois will perform at Holy Heart Theatre this fall.
Lanois has produced albums by U2, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel among others, and has contributed to soundtracks from movies like “Last of the Mohicans,” “Trainspotting,” and “Friday Night Lights,” among others.

Lanois has four solo records of his own, most recently 2005’s “Belladonna,” which was nominated for two Grammy Awards. He’s currently putting the final touches on his next album, set to be released this fall.

Tickets for Lanois’ Oct.3 show at Holy Heart will go on sale this Friday at noon. They’re $51.76 in advance and $56.75 on the day of the show (including tax and service charge) and will be available at the Holy Heart box office, by phone at 579-4424 and online at www.sonicconcerts.com.
