NEW GRAFTON - RCMP are investigating in New Grafton, Queens County, after human remains were found.

RCMP say in a release that just after 11:30 a.m. today, a man reported to the RCMP that he found human remains in a wooded area near New Grafton Rd. The area is near Maitland Bridge.

 Queens District RCMP are investigating this matter in order to determine the identity of the deceased and notify the next of kin. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office is also on scene.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
