• The Alzheimer Society will hold its monthly family support group meeting Thursday, July 15 at 7 p.m. at 685 Water St. If you have a loved one with Alzheimer's disease and would like to attend a meeting with other family members please join our meeting. • NL Mustangs weekly Thursday night Mustang Roundup and Cruise, roundup from 7-8 p.m. then cruise from 8:30-11 p.m. at Tim Horton's, Thorburn Road.

Saturday, July 17

• On Saturday, July 17, the Friends of Pippy Park and Food Education Action St. John's invite you to tour Pippy Park and learn about the gardens and farms of the past and present. After the tour, join us for some kids activities and a picnic (lunch provided). Time: July 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location: North Bank Lodge, Pippy Park. Cost: Free. • Musicians are invited to perform/busk at the Stephenville Community Market every Saturday from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Lions Club. Just show up with your instruments and have a jam.

• The Georgestown Neighbourhood Association will hold its 10th annual flea market Saturday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at the corner of Hayward Avenue and William Street in St. John's. • A historical walking tour focusing on the story of the Irish in Newfoundland is offered each Wednesday. Meet outside The Rooms at 7:20 p.m. Tour lasts 75 minutes and costs $10. No need to book or reserve.
