Alex Cuba, Terry Clarke to play the Wreckhouse

International jazz and blues festival revs up

The lineup for this year's Wreckhouse International Jazz and Blues Festival is beginning to take shape, as names trickle out in the leadup to the announcement of the full list of performers Thursday.

Most recently, 2010 Juno-nominee Alex Cuba was announced as one of this year's guest performers. As well, 2010 Juno award winner Terry Clarke, blues guitarist Matt Anderson, soul singer Kellylee Evans and innovative Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq will be in attendance.

Contributors wanted

Meanwhile, festival and event producers at Wreckhouse Jazz and Blues are also searching for contributors to the production company's blog.

The group is, in particular, seeking articles on jazz, blues and world music.

While Wreckhouse does not currently pay authors for blog content, rights for all blog submissions remain with their original authors.
