Parish hall and rec centre broken into on Burin Peninsula

RCMP are investigating two break and enters reported today on the Burin Peninsula.
The Christ the King parish hall in Rushoon was entered overnight, causing some minor damage. Approximately $650 in cash was taken from the hall. The cash had been secured in a safe, which was also taken during the break and enter.
A second break and enter was reported to have occurred during the last two nights at the Parker's Cove Recreation Center. Some food items are reported stolen from the centre
