Queen has a somewhat quieter day today as she continues her Canadian visit.
She is due to meet with Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff at Rideau Hall and will spend the rest of the day in the national capital region.
Things will get more hectic this weekend as the Queen travels to Winnipeg for a full day of events before coming back East to attend the Queen's Plate in Toronto.
The Queen is a keen owner and breeder of horses and it's the second time she'll attend the Queen's Plate - the first was in 1959.
She'll spend the rest of her time in southern Ontario before leaving Canada on Tuesday.
The Queen presided over Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa and was warmly received by the tens of thousands of people in attendance.
