There's bad weather in Labrador and it's expected to last throughout the weekend.
Environment Canada has issued a blizzard warning for the areas between Postville and Cartwright, north of Groswater Bay.
Officials say there's plenty of snow falling and blustery conditions have reduced visibility to zero at times.
It's estimated that the Makkovik area will get between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow, with winds gusting to 90 kilometres per hour through Sunday.
As well, officials say it's quite cold at -12 C and people should check their latest forecasts and be careful if heading out.
Meanwhile, the west coast of the island is also seeing wintery weather with snow squalls predicted between Port Aux Basques and Gros Morne.
It's possible the west coast, up to the Northern Peninsula may also get about 15 cms when the weather clears off.
Visibility there is also believed to be zero and residents are asked to be careful when heading out.
