BAIE-COMEAU, Que. - The Quebec environment department was working late Tuesday to clean up an oil spill from a reservoir tank at the Resolu forest products company.

Urgences-Environnement, the department's emergency team, was on the scene and the leak was plugged.

Measures were also put in place to clean up the spill, which is believed to have leaked into a creek near the Pioneer Park in Baie-Comeau, the department said in a statement.

It has not been immediately determined how much oil spilled out.
