CRANBROOK, B.C. - Two rare and valuable commodities have been discovered at a Cranbrook, B.C., discount store.

Mounties in the southeastern B.C. city are praising the honesty and integrity of a staff member at the local Giant Tiger for turning in a wallet.

It was stuffed with cash, but RCMP say the employee immediately contacted police after spotting the wallet in the store on Wednesday evening.

More than $1,000 in cash and various pieces of ID were inside.

The delighted owner of the wallet does not live in Cranbrook, but will be returning to the city to claim the property.

No word on a reward for the ethical employee. (CHBZ)
