Expensive solar panels stolen from highway construction signs in Nova Scotia

MEAGHERS GRANT, N.S. - RCMP in central Nova Scotia are investigating the theft of four solar panels from highway construction signs worth $20,000.

The panels were stolen last weekend from signs on Route 357 near Meaghers Grant.

The community is an hour's drive northeast of Halifax.

The panels measure 1.5 metres by 1.5 metres.

Each one is valued at $5,000.
