A Newfoundland and Labrador man allegedly forged prescriptions to get drugs

BELL ISLAND, N.L. - A man in Newfoundland and Labrador is facing charges of using forged documents.

RCMP in Bell Island charged a 20-year-old man Friday with two separate counts.

He is alleged to have forged prescriptions at two different pharmacies in order to get narcotics.

Police say he has been released from custody for a future court date.

His name has not been released at this time.
