Labrador RCMP charge teen after five armed robberies over 11 days

HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. - The RCMP in Labrador say a 19-year-old man faces multiple charges following a series of armed robberies.

The Mounties say five armed robberies were committed over the last 11 days in the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area.

Police say they believe the holdups were committed by the same person.

Ian Williams of Happy Valley-Goose Bay faces a total of 15 charges.

They include five counts of robbery, five charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and five charges of wearing a disguise to commit a criminal act.
