LAWRENCETOWN, N.S. - Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead after reportedly jumping from a moving vehicle in Lawrencetown.

Police say 30-year-old John Halliday of Milford was found dead at the scene.

Police received calls early Sunday morning saying people saw a man jump from a car.

A 31-year-old woman who was driving the car was arrested at the scene for impaired driving.

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in provincial court in December.

The investigation continues.
