CALGARY - Black Diamond Group Ltd. (TSX:BDI) said Thursday it has signed a long-term contract with a large resource company for its Sunday Creek Lodge in the oilsands region of northern Alberta.

The company said 75 per cent of the lodge facility has been contracted until January 2016 to house workers near Conklin, Alta.

Black Diamond said it expects revenue for the entire facility to reach $120 million to $150 million over that time period.

The company said it will upgrade the facility as part of the contract and convert a portion of the existing lodge to multi-storey dormitories, increasing the total room count to 1182.

Improvements will also be made to the kitchen, dining and recreation facilities.

Black Diamond provides remote lodging and modular buildings to the resource industry.
