Royal Newfoundland Constabulary recover stolen "Republic of Doyle" trailer

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has recovered the "Luxury" brand camper trailer that was stolen from the area of RCAF Road in St. John's, on June 23.

On July 21, the RNC issued a media release with a photo of a 2009 "Luxury" Camper Trailer that was stolen from RCAF Road in the area of the St. John's International Airport. 

The Telegram confirmed the trailer had been scheduled to be put to use by "Republic of Doyle" cast and crew. The show began shooting episodes for its second season July 5.

With the assistance of the media, the general public and Crime Stoppers, the trailer has been recovered from a dirt road in the area of Brigus Junction.  The undamaged trailer has since been returned to the rightful owner.

The RNC general investigation unit is continuing to investigate this crime and seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone that may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).  You can now provide information on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
