According to a news release, the lucky bidder will spend a day on set, get exclusive autographs and pictures with cast members and enjoy a tour of the Republic of Doyle studio.
Also available through the SPCA’s silent auction is a cruise for two out of Port Canaveral to the Bahamas (courtesy of Anne Squires, Exit Realty), return airfare from WestJet, romantic dinners in St. John’s finest restaurants and exclusive artwork.
The release states the St. John’s SPCA organizes the annual gala to raise funds for the ongoing operation of the shelter. It costs over $450,000 to operate the St. John’s SPCA which provides shelter, medical care (including spay and neuters) and outreach services for animals across the Avalon Peninsula. Over 2,200 animals come through the doors of the SPCA each year.
The gala evening will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland. Host and celebrity emcee is Ryan Snoddon, the popular on-air personality from CBC Television. There will be dancing, after dinner, to the music of the Dana Parsons Project.
