After a great back and forth game St. John's The Rock has won the Canadian Rugby Championship semi-final.

The Rock won 27-23 over the Prairie Wolf Pack in the final minutes with a heroic try, but lackluster kick.

The Rock will go on to play in the final match and has also won the right to host the national title game Sept. 18 at the Swilers Complex in St. John’s.

The game was streamed live from The Telegram's site thanks to Rugby Canada and The Rock.

This wasn't a semi-final. It was the last league game (round-robin format). Woflpack will travel againt to St-John's for the finals on the 18th.

Very exciting game. The Rock dominated in open play but at times had trouble in the sets. Great victory and well deserved win. If you missed the game you missed a beauty! My "Man of the match"..... Robert Wilson! Go Rock Go! There's only one um.............!!!!!!!!!
