If you Google Hall Of Shame, you wil read about the laws of the catholic church and find out that a priest or bishop cannot be fired from the church. most judges and court people are catholic so he will only get a sentence as little as possible. thats why the church move a priest to another parish after he commits a crime against boys.

The face of evil indeed. This is nothing more than organized crime and has been going on for centuries. The only difference now is that they are getting caught and that is why the church is "sorry". As a recovering catholic, I am disgusted and sickened by this monster of an orginization.

I sent an comment yesterday, but you obviously choose not to publish it. This pervert is showing remorse for one reason only and that's because he got caught. He continues his utter self-centeredness by asking to start his jail time immediately so that when he is actually sentenced, his present time in jail will be considered double time. Now, is there anything in these couple of sentences that you feel you cannot publish, because I'd sure love to say more ?????

He sure waited long enough to admit guilt. Maybe he was told to milk it out - more money in the collection plates ! And still it has been said this is "only the tip of the ice berg" to come in Newfoundland, not to mention the rest of Canada . And why does it seem that it is more often Catholic clergy. Of course the older crowd will continue to fill the coffers of an already over spilling money bucket. And the Church and the bishop will continue to appeal for more money - to pay for the mortages of the homes of priest living in the burgs - comuting to work daily- slugging it out forty hours a week - like is tough for these lonley guys .
