CALGARY — A wilderness and ecology guide believes Bigfoots by the dozen could be roaming the wilderness of southern Alberta and parts of British Columbia.

Todd Standing says he has photographic proof that such creatures exist after snapping a photo of something in the Banff area with human-like features on its hairy face.

Speaking on an Alberta radio talk show Thursday, Standing says there may be three troops of these beasts in the Banff area and the Kootenay region of British Columbia.

He says each may consist of 10 to 15 members with the potential for 40 to 50 animals at the most.

Standing says scientists have DNA samples, but admits it will likely take a partial or fully intact body of one of these creatures before people believe they’re real.

Standing’s research is expected to be featured on an upcoming edition of the Discovery Channel Animal Show.

So this ecology guide believes Bigfoots are in Alberta and B.C.? And that's BEFORE he has been to Newfoundland to see how the local population drive around St.John's?!

Well I know very well that the Big Foot colonies exist. I lived among them for three months after becoming lost in the Alberta foothills. I don" have to tell anyone what an experience it was. Very good hunters, these people, and masters of disguise and camoflouge. They speak a variety of first nations languages which leads me to believe that they are a band of medicine people who have gone astray while learning the ways and folklore of the spirits who have gone before. They do have a big love for their children. Manitou be praised.

This story would be much better if we could actually see the pictures in question.

So...where's the photograph? I would LOVE to see the discovery of such an interesting new animal. I hate to be skeptical about such things, but why are we not getting the photo? Cha-ching! User-generated content!
